CareEdge Global unveils new brand identity, expands sovereign ratings coverage

Gandhinagar, October 7, 2026: CareEdge Global IFSC Ltd (CareEdge Global) marked its second anniversary by introducing a new brand identity and logo, signalling its expanding global presence and ongoing commitment to independent and transparent credit insights.

Since its inception two years ago, CareEdge Global has grown its sovereign ratings coverage to 45 countries, accounting for approximately 85% of the global economy. The company now ranks among the top five global rating agencies by the number of sovereigns rated and has assigned ratings to over USD 30 billion in debt issued by corporates and financial institutions.

Anniversary event features industry leaders

At the anniversary event, K. Rajaraman, Chairperson of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), delivered the keynote address. Rajaraman highlighted the need for deeper credit assessments that go beyond traditional metrics, emphasising institutional strength, governance, and resilience. He described CareEdge Global’s presence in GIFT IFSC as a positive development for deepening financial markets in the region.

Mehul Pandya, Managing Director and Group CEO of CareEdge, outlined the organisation’s future vision, stating that the new identity is built on the principles of clarity, conviction, and credibility. Pandya said these values would guide the company’s efforts to establish itself as a global thought leader from its base in GIFT City.

Report on sovereign reforms launched

As part of the celebrations, CareEdge Global released a report titled ‘A Case for Reforms: Building Sovereign Resilience in an Evolving World.’ The report analyses 43 reform cases across 38 countries using two matrices: one mapping reforms against the five pillars of CareEdge’s sovereign rating methodology, and another by geography.

The report found that successful reforms require effective execution, enforcement, and measurable outcomes. Of the 43 cases studied, 15 were classified as Work in Progress, 10 as Highly Effective, and nine each as Moderately Effective and Least Effective. The analysis identified factors supporting successful reforms, including coherent design, pragmatic sequencing, strong institutional mandates, and broad stakeholder engagement. Conversely, overambitious design and weak implementation were cited as reasons for reform failures.

Panel discusses GIFT City’s global role

The event also featured a panel discussion on ‘Global Capital in a Fragmented World: Can GIFT City Become the Hub?’ Senior leaders from financial services, capital markets, multilateral institutions, and international organisations discussed GIFT City’s potential as an international financial centre. The panel concluded that GIFT City is well-positioned to become a trusted gateway for international finance, supported by a robust regulatory framework and growing investor interest.

Details of the new logo

The new CareEdge Global logo features a three “C” symbol with concentric rings representing clarity, conviction, and credibility. The design’s expanding layers signify the company’s growing analytical reach and market influence, while its open structure reflects transparency and adaptability. A rising sun above the central “C” symbolises illumination and opportunity, underscoring CareEdge Global’s role in providing forward-looking credit analysis.

Revati Kasture, CEO of CareEdge Global, said the report’s findings reinforce the importance of matching reform ambition with execution. Kasture noted that credible sequencing and adaptability are critical for reforms to deliver lasting outcomes, especially as economies face increasingly complex shocks.
