Little Millennium hosts Teachers Excellence Awards 2025–26 in Pune

Pune, October 8, 2026: Little Millennium Education Private Limited organised the Teachers Excellence Awards 2025–26 in Pune, bringing together over 800 educators, school leaders, and members of the Little Millennium community from across Maharashtra to recognise achievements in early years education.

The event, held under the theme “The Future Has a Teacher,” saw participation from more than 75 Little Millennium schools. Teachers and schools were honoured for their contributions to quality education, child development, and for fostering safe and nurturing environments for children aged two to six years.

Focus on teacher development and innovation

Little Millennium highlighted its commitment to equipping educators for the future through its BLOOM curriculum, which aims to build skills such as creativity, collaboration, curiosity, and critical thinking. The awards ceremony also featured a robotics experience, offering teachers insight into the technology-driven world that children will encounter as they grow up.

Commitment to inclusion and sustainability

The event included a special performance by children from the Asha Foundation, reflecting Little Millennium’s focus on inclusion and equal opportunities within the education community. Activities at the ceremony also promoted awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals and encouraged collective responsibility for building a better future.

Recognition of excellence in early education

The Teachers Excellence Awards acknowledged the dedication of educators in classrooms and recognised schools for setting benchmarks in quality education, child safety, nurturing practices, and overall excellence.

Mr Sajid Ali, CEO, and Ms Geetika Bahuguna, COO of Little Millennium Education Private Limited, said the awards celebrate the central role of teachers in early childhood education and emphasised the enduring importance of the human touch in learning, even as technology and artificial intelligence become more prominent.
