Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair to host over 620 exhibitors from 25 countries

Hong Kong, October 27, 2026: The 18th Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), is set to take place from November 5 to 7 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, featuring more than 620 exhibitors from over 25 countries and regions.

This year’s edition will showcase wines, spirits, sake, beer, low- and no-alcohol beverages, and related products from over 40 places of origin, reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a global wine and spirits trading hub. The fair will open its public zone, Saturday Fiesta, to visitors aged 18 and above on November 7, offering opportunities to sample and purchase products and participate in thematic activities.

Expanded World of Spirits zone

The World of Spirits zone returns with exhibitors from 16 countries and regions, including first-time participants from Mexico, Portugal, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom. The zone highlights the world’s eight major spirit categories: baijiu, whisky, vodka, rum, tequila, brandy (including cognac), gin, and soju. Featured products include King Barley Single Malt Whisky from Czechia’s TÄ›rsaÅ¡ovice Distillery and Legenda Cherry Spiced Rum from Slovakia.

Smilely Lam, Associate Executive Director of the HKTDC, said the fair’s expanded World of Spirits zone reflects growing interest in premium spirits and a wider range of alcoholic beverages, aided by a recent reduction in liquor duty and rising market demand. Lam also noted Hong Kong’s strategic position connecting the Chinese Mainland with global markets and the government’s ongoing support for the sector.

Top 10 Chinese Baijiu Brands and new innovations

Baijiu is a major focus this year, with the “Top 10 Chinese Baijiu Brands”—including Kweichow Moutai and Yanghe—using the fair to accelerate international expansion. A new interactive installation will debut, highlighting baijiu’s traditional craftsmanship and cultural heritage, alongside a seminar titled “Chinese Baijiu Go Global”. Xiantan Distillery, a multiple gold medal winner at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), is targeting younger consumers with a 39% ABV version and 100ml mini-bottle packaging, focusing on Southeast Asia and Europe. China Honest Industrial Limited will present a Sauce-Flavoured Whisky blending baijiu and Western whisky styles.

Emerging wine regions and local creativity

For the first time, pavilions from Georgia and Italy’s Calabria wine region will participate, while Chinese wine producers from Xinjiang, Ningxia, and Xizang will showcase their offerings. Highlights include Pazhu Rigang 3675 red wine from Xizang and Sundyard Private Collection Five-Star Dry Red Wine from Xinjiang. Other featured wines are Pinot Noir Ben’s Reserve 2020 from Czechia and Concept Feteasca Neagra 2022 from Romania.

Hong Kong brands are also represented, with Quadran Gin Salty Lime London Dry Gin and CATNIP tea gin – YUAN YANG drawing on local culinary influences. The fair will feature low- and no-alcohol beverages such as Neon Tiger Real Fruit Soda, which contains about 50% less sugar than standard soft drinks.

Industry events and public day activities

More than 40 events are scheduled, including masterclasses by Masters of Wine Debra Meiburg, Bill Liu, and Jennifer Docherty, as well as the “Sommeliers’ Picks” blind tasting led by Master Sommelier Derek Li, Carlito Chiu, and Anty Fung. Cocktail culture will be highlighted through events such as a sharing session with actress and wine commentator Bernice Liu and representatives from leading Asian bars, including Bar Leone, which was ranked No. 1 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list in 2025 and 2026.

The public zone Saturday Fiesta will be open on November 7, with tickets priced at HK$220 and a promotional offer of HK$128 available until 6pm on November 6 through designated platforms. Ticket holders will receive a complimentary Lucaris Crystal Wine Glass while stocks last and can participate in activities such as the FIGARO AFTER HOURS Canton cocktail music party.

The HKTDC, established in 1966, is a statutory body promoting Hong Kong’s trade and operates over 50 offices worldwide, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland.
