Installing BlueStacks

  1. Open a web browser and go to https://www.bluestacks.com/download.html. This is the link to the Bluestacks download website.
  2. Click the BlueStacks Download tab. On the left side of the page, it’s the green button. This will download the Bluestacks installer for the latest version. It will be a big file, and depending on your network, it can take a few minutes to download.

  7. Double-click Sign Up. To access the Google Play Store sign-in page, first press the blue Sign In icon. Then, sign in to the Google Play Store for your Google Account and press the green SignIn icon.
  8. Use your Google account to log in. Click Next after entering an email address associated with your Google account. Then press Next after entering your password.
  9. You may use Gmail to build a free Google account if you don’t want to use your default Google account with BlueStacks.
  10. Click on I agree.  I concur. This signifies the acceptance of the terms and service agreements.
  11. If you’re asked to give the Google Play Store access to your BlueStacks file system or some other permissions, click Allow.

Installing a Game

  1. Begin by launching Bluestacks. It has a symbol that resembles stacked blue, red, yellow, and green tiles. To open BlueStacks, click the BlueStacks icon in the Windows Start menu or the Applications folder on a Mac.
  2. Navigate to the Google Play Store by clicking on the button.
  3. This is located at the top of BlueStacks’ home page.
  4. In the search bar, type the title of the game. The Google Play Store’s search bar is located at the left.
  5. Click the game’s title. It will be mentioned below the search bar in the chart of search results.
  6. Click the Install button. It is the green button to the right of the game’s title. If the game is a paid download, you must press the button with the game’s price instead. To complete the order, you’ll need to use a credit or debit card or PayPal connected to your Google account. Additionally, you can use any Google credits that are already associated with your account. It is strongly advised that you first try a trial edition of a game to ensure that the software runs smoothly in BlueStacks.
  7. Click the Accept button. If the game requires some additional permissions, press Accept to grant it access to the necessary functionality.
  8. Install an APK file containing a game. If the game you’re looking to update isn’t available via the Google Play Store, you can install it with an APK file, much as you would on an Android phone. To mount an APK file, follow these steps:
    1. Save an APK file to your computer’s hard drive.

Playing Games in BlueStacks

  2. Navigate to the Home page. It’s the first tab on the screen’s top bar. This enables you to use the Home Screen.

  4. Click and hold to tap.
  5. Tap and drag by clicking and dragging. If the game allowed you to move items with your finger, you would use the cursor to press and drag them.
  6. Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons to zoom in and out. Zoom in and out using the up and down arrow buttons.
  7. Shake by holding Ctrl+⇧ Shift+3. If the game allows you to shake your tablet, you may use the keyboard shortcut to do this. Additionally, you should press the three-dot button in the right-hand sidebar and then the icon that resembles a handset shaking.
  8. Rotate by holding Ctrl+⇧ Shift+4. You may use the keyboard shortcut to rotate the panel if required. Additionally, you should press the three-dot button in the right-hand sidebar and then the spinning phone icon.
