WhatsApp can not only be accessed on smartphones but also on laptops and personal computers. The Facebook-owned messaging platform was spotted testing photo-editing tool on the web app but now we have learnt that the feature has been rolled out to some users. It was previously spotted in the latest beta version of WhatsApp. The feature not only lets users edit photos, crop them but also add stickers before sending them.

Wabetainfo was the first to spot the feature. The features tracker noted that WhatsApp is rolling out the option to edit pictures from WhatsApp Web/ Desktop. “If the feature is available for your WhatsApp account, before sending the image, WhatsApp will show some new options to edit it, like the possibility to add emojis, stickers, text and more,” the wabetainfo report said.

We at India Today Tech were able to spot the photo-editing tool on the WhatsApp web. The features tracker revealed that WhatsApp is slowly rolling out the update, so a lot of users may not see the photo editing tool immediately. It is important to update to the latest version of WhatsApp on all operating systems including iOS, Android and Web to get the new features.
