A vehicle in County Roscommon has been detained after the local Roads Policing Unit detected a number of traffic offences.
Roscommon RPU stopped the vehicle in Roscommon Town for no tax.
The driver subsequently produced an insurance certificate that had been cancelled. Gardai say that a call to the insurance company confirmed that the policy had been cancelled.
The vehicle was detained and court proceedings will follow.
