Max Financial Share Price: Max Financial shares drop 1.68% as Sensex rises

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 84.27 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 8.7 per share and 6.61 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 22,585 shares changed hands on the counter till 02:09PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 25296.91 crore and is part of the Insurance – Life industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 29.37 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 7.44 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 749.75 and Rs 727.75.

Promoters held 14.72 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2022. FII and MF ownership in Max Financial Services Ltd. stood at 23.76 per cent and 28.0 per cent, respectively.
