ITC Mangaldeep launches digital campaign to support Braille navigation at Ayodhya Ram Mandir

National, October 30, 2026: ITC Mangaldeep has introduced ‘Har Bhakt Shri Ram Tak’, a digital initiative aimed at making the darshan experience at Ayodhya Ram Mandir more accessible for visually impaired devotees. The campaign invites people across India to participate symbolically, with each contribution supporting the creation of a Braille-enabled navigation pathway at the temple.

The initiative leverages technology, including Contour Detection Technology, and draws inspiration from Mangaldeep’s Sixth Sense programme, which focuses on enabling people with visual impairments to experience the world beyond sight. Participants are invited to write “Ram” in their vernacular languages on the digital platform, with each entry contributing towards the development of a tactile and Braille-enabled pathway at the temple.

Digital participation and on-ground impact

Every digital participation will also result in the illumination of a diya at Sarayu Ghat, turning individual expressions of faith into a collective celebration. The first phase of the tactile pathway aims to help visually impaired devotees navigate the temple space with greater ease and independence, enhancing their ability to experience darshan during Deepotsav and beyond.

Leadership statement on inclusivity

Rohit Dogra, Divisional CEO, Matches and Agarbatti Division, ITC, said the initiative is rooted in the belief that devotion should be accessible to everyone. “Our Sixth Sense initiative has been rooted in the thought of making experiences more inclusive for persons with visual impairments, and this belief also inspired us to conceptualise ‘Har Bhakt Shri Ram Tak’ initiative,” Dogra said.

Previous initiatives and ongoing association

This campaign builds on Mangaldeep’s ongoing association with Ayodhya’s Deepotsav, including the Khushboo Path and Digital Deepotsav, which previously saw over 1.3 lakh digital diyas translated into physical diyas. With ‘Har Bhakt Shri Ram Tak’, Mangaldeep aims to further its legacy of using technology and collective participation to create a more inclusive devotional environment at Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
