Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Ltd simplified claims settlement process for claims caused by Cyclone Amphan

Mumbai, June 5, 2020: The settlement of claims is now matter of a few clicks. In order to ensure claims are responded quickly, Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Limited is actively taking necessary measures to provide support to the families of the victims of the recent Cyclone Amphan in West Bengal & Odisha. In this difficult time the company has set up Special Claims Helpdesk to make claims experience simple, quick and hassle-free. The process of intimation and the requirements to be submitted for Death claims, have been simplified and are as follow:

  • Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Ltd, would not insist on Original Policy Document, in case the same is lost during the Cyclone and will admit claims based on Indemnity for loss of policy document
  • In absence of Death Certificate, one can register the claim basis Certificate or Proof of death establishing identity of the life assured in the form of list issued by State Government or newspaper cutting stating the death details, Letter issued by local authorities confirming death due to by Covid-19 or any other valid proof which can be accepted by us
  • Option to submit the other documents through digital mode
    • Filling claim form through digitized mode
    • Submitting KYC documents of Life Assured and Claimant
    • PAN card or Form 60 of claimant
    • Cancelled cheque or scan copy of bank statement/passbook
