New Delhi, October 15, 2026: Vitonnix, a preventive healthcare startup developed in the UK, has secured its first institutional capital in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The round also saw participation from practising doctors, Bollywood actors Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani, singer Jaspinder Narula, and film producer Madhu Mantena.
The company said the funds will be used to strengthen its senior leadership team, build a consumer growth engine, expand distribution channels, and enter new international markets. Vitonnix, founded by Dr Prashant Jindal, Dr Deepti Jindal, and Dr Rajesh Handa, is behind SubliSpray®, a range of sublingual nutritional sprays developed in the UK and scaled in India.
Plans for international expansion
Vitonnix has sold millions of bottles and is preparing to launch an initial ten-product range with Boots UK in 2026. The company has filed patent applications for its bottle designs and formulations, and its precision spray systems are engineered in Germany. Indian consumers have access to the same formulations and quality standards as those offered internationally.
Vitonnix operates its research, formulation, and manufacturing base in India, with global operations managed from London and Birmingham. The company has undertaken product registrations and regulatory filings in the UK, US, UAE, and India. Early support from the Tata group helped bring the brand to the Indian market, followed by a co-branded range within the Tata ecosystem.
Leadership and medical team
Dr Sandeep Gupta, Director of Orthopedics at Max Hospitals, leads Vitonnix’s medical team in India and is part of the company’s core leadership. The wider team includes doctors from India and the UK, formulation scientists, and regulatory specialists. The company has completed three clinical studies on key formulations after more than a decade of research.
Vitonnix has also expanded into companion-animal health with Vetonnix, which it describes as the world’s first oral nutritional spray platform for pets. The initial Vetonnix range covers skin and coat, calming support, multivitamins, growth and development, and bones and joints.
Market outlook and investor perspective
According to IMARC Group, India’s nutraceuticals market is projected to grow from USD 8.93 billion in 2025 to USD 23.09 billion by 2034. The company’s founders include Dr Prashant Jindal, a UK-based refractive eye surgeon, Dr Deepti Jindal, a dermatologist, and Dr Rajesh Handa, an oral surgeon. Dr Prashant Jindal is also a HarperCollins-published author and founder of several philanthropic initiatives.
