Network to Cover 10 States
The first phase will see Vashi Marts set up in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Uttarakhand, and Odisha. Locations are being selected based on installer demand and district-level rooftop solar potential linked to the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. Integrated Distribution and Digital Platform
Each Mart will be supported by Vashi’s broader distribution and warehousing network. Installers can purchase products over the counter, while larger orders and project requirements will be fulfilled through the company’s distribution infrastructure. Vashi’s digital procurement platform, DigiServe, will allow installers to check stock availability, place orders for products not available at the counter, track deliveries, and access product catalogues and technical information. Product guidance, hands-on training, and technical assistance will also be provided to help installers navigate different solar products and technologies.
Focus on Rooftop Solar Installers
The Vashi Mart network will primarily serve the residential rooftop solar market, with additional support for installers working on small commercial and industrial rooftop projects. Larger commercial and industrial requirements will be handled through Vashi’s fulfilment centres, extending the model to a broader range of solar installation needs.
