Shriram Group rebrands Way2Wealth as Shriram Financial Services, appoints Amit Golia CEO

Mumbai, October 21, 2026: Shriram Group has announced the rebranding of its capital markets subsidiary Way2Wealth, acquired in 2020, as Shriram Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. (Shriram FS), with the process currently underway. The move is aimed at consolidating the group’s broking business under the Shriram brand and marks a new phase in its capital markets strategy.

As part of this transition, Amit Golia has been appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Shriram FS. Golia brings 26 years of experience in the capital markets sector, having previously worked with Motilal Oswal, Axis Securities, and SBI Securities.

Focus on Assisted DIY Investment Platform

Shriram FS will target India’s value-discerning investor segment by launching an Assisted DIY (Do-It-Yourself) investing platform. The platform is designed for investors seeking the flexibility of self-directed investing while retaining access to expert support, bridging the gap between digital-only and advisory-led models.

The company’s offerings will include equities, derivatives, commodities, Margin Trading Facility (MTF), mutual funds, initial public offers (IPOs), portfolio management services (PMS), research analyst services, National Pension Scheme (NPS), depository participant (Demat) accounts, fixed income products, loan against mutual funds (LAMF), loan against securities (LAS), and other investment solutions for both retail and high net worth individual (HNI) clients.

Sanlam Group Partnership and Strategic Direction

Sanlam Group, a South African insurance and capital markets company and long-term partner of Shriram Group, will provide guidance to Shriram FS through its global expertise. The partnership aims to combine Shriram’s understanding of Indian customers and distribution with Sanlam’s international experience in financial services and wealth management.

The rebranding and new leadership are intended to strengthen Shriram Group’s presence in capital markets, complementing its existing lending, insurance, asset management, and broking businesses.

Leadership Comments on Growth Plans

Subhasri Sriram, Managing Director and CEO of Shriram Capital Ltd., said the launch of Shriram FS completes the group’s capital markets proposition and will enable more meaningful participation in customers’ wealth creation journeys. She added that Amit Golia’s experience in financial services, digital platforms, and distribution positions him to lead Shriram FS into its next phase of growth.

Amit Golia, Managing Director and CEO of Shriram FS, stated that the company aims to build a trusted investment and wealth platform for value-conscious investors, focusing on simple, transparent, and technology-driven investment experiences while enhancing distribution capabilities.
