Saturday, January 20th 2024: The two-day first-of-its-kind global multi-specialty robotic surgery conference hosted by SS Innovations came to a conclusion today with day two witnessing live surgeries in multi-specialty and cardiac from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi, Aster CM Hospital, Bengaluru, Apex Hospital, Moradabad, Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram and Apollo Hospital, Bengaluru.
In addition to the live surgeries, the day also witnessed enlightening presentations on various subjects by eminent doctors who have been using the SSI MANTRA Surgical Robotic System in their surgical procedures.
In a special address at the closing ceremony, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana said, “I am happy to be amongst all of you at the SS Innovations Global Multi-Specialty Robotic Surgery Conference. After serving many years in the USA, Dr. Sudhir Srivastava returned to India to harness innovation and technology for the benefit of the nation, I truly salute his spirit. Robotic Surgery also known as Robot Assisted Surgery represented cutting-edge technology. Robotic Surgeries complements human capabilities pushing the boundaries of what is achievable in the real life of minimally invasive surgery. SSI has given wonderful innovation to the nation and we will give necessary support to this initiative by Dr. Srivastava. Dr. Srivastava has made a surgical robot in just Rs. 6 crores as against the imported ones which costs Rs. 15 crores which is huge savings for our country”.
