iLink Digital consolidates five business units under single AI-first model

Pune, October 7, 2026: iLink Digital announced a company-wide reorganisation on Wednesday, unifying its five business units—Data & AI, Digital Engineering, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and AI Business Solutions—under a single AI-first operating model. The move aims to integrate these capabilities into one AI transformation offering, delivery framework, and go-to-market approach, reflecting the growing trend among enterprises to pursue AI transformation as an integrated business and technology priority.

The restructuring comes amid increasing convergence between data, AI, security, and infrastructure, with iLink Digital seeking to enable its teams to operate as a single integrated organisation rather than in separate silos. The company said the new model will allow for greater consistency and focus on business outcomes across strategy and execution.

Unified executive leadership team

Under the new structure, iLink Digital’s executive team will operate through defined charters. Sree Balaji, Co-Founder & Group CEO, will oversee the transition. Ambuj Parihar has been named Chief Business Officer, responsible for all revenue streams, while Sakthi Kannan will serve as Chief Growth Officer, overseeing growth, strategy, and innovation. Ratheesh C Krishnageeth will take on the role of Chief Operations Officer, managing delivery, talent, and product engineering. Sreenivasan R has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, handling EBITDA and financial discipline, and Shankar Anakavour will serve as Chief Compliance Officer, responsible for compliance and revenue assurance. Saravanan Karunanithi will act as CEO, Strategic Expansion, overseeing group companies, M&A, and HR.

Regional and group company leadership

The wider group leadership includes Maria Julia Orozco, CEO of Ultrasist in Mexico; Gloria Rosenberg, CEO of Market Fusion Analytics in the U.S.; Alan Haefele, CEO for Europe and Africa at Haefele Software; Gabriela Fonseca, Chief Growth Officer at Derevo in Mexico; Bernardo Simões, CEO of OSQuay and ITUp in Portugal; Karthik Pillai, CEO of FourNxt in the UAE and India; and Varun Reddy, CEO of Fragma Data Systems in India and the UAE. These leaders will work more closely with iLink’s core executive team while retaining their market and business responsibilities.

New strategic committees established

iLink Digital is also forming two new committees, both chaired by Sree Balaji. The iLink Ventures Committee will determine which internal intellectual property is funded, developed, and taken to market as productised offerings. The Practice Strategy Committee will decide which practices the company invests in, scales, or sunsets based on business priorities and market opportunities.

Leadership perspectives on the transition

“AI is changing not just what enterprises build, but how they approach transformation. As data, engineering, infrastructure, security and AI become increasingly interconnected, our operating model needs to reflect the way our clients are solving these challenges,” said Sree Balaji, Co-Founder & Group CEO, iLink Digital.

Ratheesh C Krishnageeth, Chief Operations Officer, added, “AI first delivery only means something if it’s the same standard everywhere our teams operate. Bringing delivery, talent and product engineering together under one charter lets us give every client, in every region, the same discipline and the same speed.”

iLink Digital was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Seattle. The company has over 3,000 professionals in 24 offices across the USA, India, Mexico, Portugal, Canada, UAE, South Africa, Malaysia, and Singapore, serving clients in sectors such as healthcare, energy, retail, manufacturing, telecom, and government.
