Bengaluru/Spain, August 3, 2026: Deccan Gold Mines Limited has announced that all completed drill holes at the Dehesa target of its Logrosan Project in Spain have intersected potentially economic tungsten or tungsten-tin mineralisation, with laboratory assays confirming high-grade results across multiple intersections.
The company completed seven diamond drill holes totalling nearly 3,000 metres in its latest campaign. Notable assay highlights include 1.21% WO₃ at 535 metres in drill hole LDD017 and 0.88% WO₃ at 470 metres in drill hole LDD016. The widest mineralised interval recorded was 7.5 metres grading 0.29% WO₃. Additional assay results are expected in the coming weeks as exploration continues.
Mineralisation extends across 3-km trend
Deccan Gold said the results indicate tungsten mineralisation extends beyond isolated veins into a broad hydrothermal system, potentially continuing over an approximately 3-kilometre trend. Geological interpretation suggests the mineralisation represents the upper portion of a larger tungsten-tin system, which may strengthen at depth.
The Logrosan Project is part of Deccan Gold’s strategic investment in Spain, following a definitive earn-in agreement to progressively acquire a majority interest in Logrosan Minera S.L. The Spanish portfolio includes tungsten, tin, rare earth element, and gold assets within one of Europe’s most mineral-rich belts.
Company strategy and management comments
Dr. Hanuma Prasad Modali, Managing Director, Deccan Gold Mines Limited, said the results provide strong validation of the project’s district-scale potential and reinforce confidence in its long-term prospects. “The fact that every drill hole has intersected potentially economic tungsten or tungsten-tin mineralisation points to a robust mineralised system with significant exploration upside,” he said.
He added that the investment, advanced through Deccan Gold’s wholly owned Dubai subsidiary DGFZCO, aligns with the company’s strategy of building a globally diversified portfolio of gold and critical mineral assets. “Logrosan is an important step in our vision of building globally relevant mining assets that create sustainable long-term value,” Dr. Modali said.
Further exploration planned at Logrosan
The company will continue drilling at the Dehesa target and plans to begin exploration at the Las Brujas and Logrosan North targets later this year, aiming to unlock the broader district-scale potential of the Logrosan Project.
Project and company background
The Logrosan Project is located in Spain’s Iberian metallogenic belt and comprises the 37 km² Logrosan licence, the 40 km² Maria licence, and an additional licence application covering 30 km². The project is prospective for tungsten, tin, rare earth elements, niobium, tantalum, and gold.
Deccan Gold Mines Ltd. (BSE: 512068), established in 2003, is India’s first and only listed gold and critical minerals resource company, with assets across India, Kyrgyzstan, Spain, Mozambique, Finland, and Tanzania.
