New Delhi, October 12, 2026: Cars24 reported delivering 750 cars on the first day of Navratri, marking a 58% increase compared to the same period last year. The company said that 70% of these buyers were purchasing their first car.
According to Cars24, more than 40% of the cars sold were registered with rural RTOs, with rural sales outpacing those in urban areas during the festival period. The youngest buyer was 19 years old and the oldest was 76, both acquiring their first vehicle this Navratri.
High platform engagement and repeat customers
The company stated that over 50 lakh vehicle owners visited its platforms during the period, with a transaction occurring every two seconds across its ecosystem. More than two-thirds of these transactions were attributed to returning customers.
Rural demand drives growth
Cars24 highlighted that rural markets showed faster growth in car sales compared to urban regions, as indicated by the proportion of vehicles linked to rural RTOs.
