CareEdge Global marks second anniversary with new brand identity, expands sovereign ratings coverage

Gandhinagar, October 8, 2026: CareEdge Global IFSC Ltd (CareEdge Global) unveiled a new brand identity and logo on its second anniversary, signalling its expanding global footprint and commitment to independent, transparent credit insights.

Since its launch two years ago, CareEdge Global has extended its sovereign ratings coverage to 45 countries, representing about 85% of the global economy, placing it among the top five global rating agencies by number of sovereigns rated. The company has also rated over USD 30 billion in debt issued by corporates and financial institutions.

Event highlights and leadership remarks

The anniversary event featured a keynote address by K. Rajaraman, Chairperson of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), who emphasised the importance of institutional strength, governance, and resilience in credit assessments. Rajaraman noted that CareEdge Global’s presence in GIFT IFSC has contributed positively to deepening financial markets in the region.

Mehul Pandya, Managing Director and Group CEO of CareEdge, outlined the company’s vision to become a global thought leader anchored on clarity, conviction, and credibility. Pandya stated that these principles are now embedded in the new brand identity and will guide the organisation’s future growth from its base in GIFT City.

Launch of sovereign reform report

As part of the celebrations, CareEdge Global released a report titled ‘A Case for Reforms: Building Sovereign Resilience in an Evolving World’, which analyses 43 reform cases across 38 countries using two matrices—one mapping reforms across five pillars of its sovereign rating methodology, and another by geography. The report found that of the 43 cases, 15 were classified as Work in Progress, 10 as Highly Effective, and nine each as Moderately Effective and Least Effective.

The report identifies factors supporting successful reforms, such as coherent design, pragmatic sequencing, and strong political commitment, while noting that overambitious design and implementation weaknesses can undermine effectiveness. It recommends treating reform design, financing, consultation, implementation, and monitoring as a unified process.

Panel discussion on GIFT City’s role

The event also included a panel discussion titled ‘Global Capital in a Fragmented World: Can GIFT City Become the Hub?’, bringing together leaders from financial services, capital markets, multilateral institutions, and international organisations. The panel concluded that GIFT City is well-positioned to serve as a trusted gateway for international finance, supported by its regulatory framework and growing market infrastructure.

Details of the new brand logo

The new CareEdge Global logo features three concentric “C” rings representing Clarity, Conviction, and Credibility, with a rising sun symbolising illumination and foresight. The design aims to convey transparency, accessibility, and responsiveness, reflecting the company’s approach to credit ratings and stakeholder engagement.

Revati Kasture, CEO of CareEdge Global, said the report’s findings reinforce the importance of matching reform ambition with execution, and that demonstrated reform capacity is a key forward-looking indicator in sovereign ratings, especially amid complex global shocks.
