New Delhi, October 7, 2026: Bharti Airtel has unveiled new postpaid plans offering free international roaming for all customers, effective October 8, 2026. The new plans provide one complimentary international trip with free roaming benefits each year, in addition to existing features.
The international roaming pack includes 5GB of data, 60 minutes of calls, 25 outgoing SMS, and unlimited incoming SMS, all valid for five days. Customers can activate the five-day pack at their preferred time. For Airtel Postpaid family plans, each member is eligible for the free international roaming benefit annually.
Plan details and included benefits
The new postpaid plans start at ₹499 for individuals and go up to ₹1,799 for families of five. All plans feature unlimited data and calling, network-level spam and fraud prevention, and a range of entertainment subscriptions. These include Xstream Play Premium, Google One, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Apple iCloud+, Apple Music, and Netflix, depending on the plan tier.
Each plan offers one free international roaming trip per SIM per year. The ₹749 plan covers a family of two, ₹1,049 for three, ₹1,249 and ₹1,449 for families of four (with the latter including Netflix Basic), and ₹1,799 for families of five (with Netflix Standard).
Activation and upgrade process
From October 8, 2026, the new postpaid plans will be available to all Airtel Postpaid customers. Existing users on older postpaid or prepaid plans can upgrade via the Airtel App or by visiting an Airtel Store. New customers can switch to Airtel Postpaid by submitting a request through the app or at a store.
