Volkswagen prepares young refugees for career entry

Volkswagen vocational coaching in Wolfsburg has as soon as once more ready a bunch of young refugees for their entry into working life. “As part of the introductory qualification program, the young refugees receive language instruction, an internship in a small company and further training at Volkswagen. The program is very successful and has so far placed more than 40 people in apprenticeships,” says RVA Managing Director Kristin Panse. There are additionally already jobs for the three young males, she added.

Volkswagen Group Refugee Aid helps this system. “Good vocational training is also the basis for a successful career for refugees and thus integration into society. That’s why we are committed to the program,” says the undertaking supervisor of Volkswagen Group Refugee Aid, Oliver Braun.
