Donald Trump, former President of America
Former US President Donald Trump unveiled his first official Trump footwear at the Philadelphia Convention Center. During this, he was given a warm welcome and cheers were also given. These golden sneakers featured shiny gold high tops with an American flag printed on the back along with a price tag of $399. As he inches closer to the Republican presidential nomination, former President Donald Trump has started doing something unusual. On Saturday he appeared in a highly unusual stop, selling new Trump-branded sneakers at “Sneaker Con.” He attended the gathering that bills itself as “the greatest sneaker show on Earth.”
The website says it has no connection to the Trump campaign, although Trump campaign officials promoted the appearance in online posts. The unannounced launch came a day after a judge in New York ordered Trump and his company to pay a massive $355 million fine.
Trump surrounded by criticism
After this launch, Trump is being accused that the former President had lied about his wealth for years. They planned to defraud banks, insurers and others by inflating their assets. Trump is also being criticized for this. The fine came after Trump was ordered to pay an additional $83.3 million for damaging the reputation of author E. Jean Carroll after she accused him of sexual harassment. With interest payments, Trump’s legal debt could now exceed half a billion dollars. However, it is not clear what amount he can pay. Trump held up signs that read, “Sneakerheads love Trump.” After holding up a pair of gold shoes and then placing one on each side of his stage, Trump responded by saying, There are a lot of emotions in this room.
