Apart from giving the facility of shopping to the passengers, this app will also provide the facility to book a bike or cab from inside the metro. The special thing is that the orders booked on this app can be received from any metro station.
Please inform that Delhi Metro’sMomentum 2.0, is a specially designed application that will provide its users with custom made services such as last mile connectivity options, a wide range of e-shopping options and instant and direct access to digital lockers for quick and secure deliveries. Along with this, the smart card of Delhi Metro can also be recharged instantly from the app. This app will also be useful for smart payment.
This app with many features will have three special features of Delhi Metro. Which includes three major services like last mile connectivity, virtual store for shopping and digital locker facility at metro stations.

1. Last-Mile Connectivity
Commuters using this app will be able to get instant facilities like booking of bike, e-rickshaws, cabs and feeder buses timetables, DTC buses and cluster bus routes from Delhi Metro stations.
2. Shopping for household items
The app includes features of e-shopping options with a wide range of products to choose from. This unique brick and click store will allow experienced users to shop for household groceries and other essential items at metro stations. Select brands will showcase their products and services in the app with enhanced Extended Reality tools and passengers will be able to use the QR code mechanism to shop for goods of their choice as they wait for their train to arrive. The immersive and immersive merchandise offered at these virtual stores will bridge the gap between digital and physical shopping.
3. Digital Locker for Smart Shopper
DMRC is in the process of setting up digital lockers called ‘smart boxes’ at select stations. Where the goods ordered through e-shopping on this app can be securely deposited and collected by the respective buyers once they reach their destination station. These smart boxes will provide secure, tech-enabled management of parcels, commodities and products. These user-friendly lockers will work in tandem with e-commerce players for the fastest delivery and collection cycles. Apart from this, passengers can also use smart boxes on payment basis.
Smart card recharge facility
Along with this, this app will provide the facility to the passengers to recharge their smart cards instantly from anywhere. The app has an auto-top-up facility for the inbuilt smart card. The app will also provide the facility of smart payment. Payments like insurance, electricity, gas payment or FASTag recharge can be done easily by setting the instruction in automatic mode.
Information about metro station, gate, lift will also be available
The app will provide detailed information on facilities available at metro stations such as gates, lifts, escalators, platforms, train timings, seats in coaches and seat availability status. Users can get real time information (provided operationally feasible) on arrival time of trains along with location of platforms and exit points. This will help commuters to book bike/cab before exiting the metro and the vehicle will be ready on arrival at the destination station. Information about shops, outlets, kiosks and ATMs available at stations will also be available through this app.
