The Coca-Cola Foundation (TCCF) right now introduced the launch of ‘Unnati Aamrit’ in the state of Odisha. It is a sustainable agriculture undertaking underneath its flagship program Project ‘Unnati’, which is a part of the ‘Fruit Circular Economy’ initiative.
Project Unnati Aamrit, which is funded by The Coca-Cola Foundation has been initiated in partnership with SWADESI, a rural growth group. Project Unnati Aamrit is in line with the Government of India’s priorities in the direction of doubling farmers’ earnings.
The undertaking was inaugurated in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha right now in the presence of Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Honorable Governor of Odisha. Mr. Sukanta Panigrahi, Project Director, SWADESI; Mr. Rajesh Ayapilla, Director, CSR and Sustainability for Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia, together with Dr. Aditya Panda, Senior Manager, Fruit Circular Economy, Coca-Cola India and South – West Asia, additionally attended the occasion with native representatives.
With the launch of ‘Unnati Aamrit’, The Coca-Cola Foundation and SWADESI purpose to improve mango productiveness in Odisha, via the adoption of Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs). The undertaking’s goal is to improve incomes of marginal farmers via elevated mango productiveness, and rejuvenation of current orchards in economically backward aspirational districts as earmarked by Government of India.

Project Unnati Aamrit will assist empower over 10,000 farmers in Odisha, spreading throughout 10,000 acres of land throughout key farming districts in the state, for the manufacturing of mangoes. The undertaking goals to enhance agricultural, financial, social & environmental sustainability by selling good agricultural practices, and supply coaching to farmers to improve capability constructing on post-harvest administration and market linkages.
