Maya Tissafi, Ambassador of Switzerland to India, Hon’ble Minister Shri Sunil Sharma of the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and a delegation of government officials and business leaders.
The visiting group was received by leadership teams from both Noida International Airport and Zurich Airport International AG. The delegation was briefed on the airport’s development progress, sustainability initiatives, passenger experience philosophy, and future expansion plans, highlighting the Uttar Pradesh government’s ongoing efforts to attract investment and promote infrastructure-led growth in the region.

Airport development and future plans
Noida International Airport (IATA code – DXN) connects the greater Delhi area and Western Uttar Pradesh with domestic and international destinations. The airport is pursuing a net zero emissions goal, supported by sustainable design and operational principles. Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), a 100% subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, is responsible for the development, construction, and operation of the greenfield project under a 40-year concession that began on October 1, 2021.
