SÖDERTÄLJE, Sweden, Sept. 16, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Scania declares far-reaching measures to decarbonise its supply chain by 2030. Together with Scania’s suppliers it has outlined an formidable industry-leading technique to remove the biggest carbon emissions sources from the commonest manufacturing supplies and batteries.

Through life cycle analyses, Scania has recognized 4 emission “hotspots” – batteries, metal, aluminium and forged iron – that collectively represent roughly 80 p.c of carbon emissions arising from manufacturing supplies.*
