Sanchi reinforces 45-year legacy with modernised brand identity & redesigned packaging

Bhopal, August 7, 2026: The Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Dairy Federation (MPCDF), which markets dairy products under the trusted Sanchi brand, unveiled a completely redesigned look for its entire product range in Bhopal. The refresh – encompassing new colours, layouts and design elements – follows an agreement between the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). The launch event drew senior officials from NDDB and MPCDF, alongside distributors and retailers – highlighting strong institutional support and market confidence in the Sanchi brand.

Dr Meenesh Shah, Chairman, NDDB stated, “Sanchi reaffirms the cooperative spirit, drawing strength from dairy cooperative societies across Madhya Pradesh. It stands as a symbol of shared progress, where the brand’s prosperity is inseparable from that of its farmers. Its new identity emphasises quality and farmer welfare, shaped through the collaboration between the Madhya Pradesh government and NDDB. Anchored in the cooperative model, Sanchi ensures that every benefit returns to the dairy farmers who sustain it.”

Dr Sanjay Govani, Managing Director, MPCDF said, “For 45 years, Sanchi has been an integral part of the daily life in Bhopal’s households and that trust is our biggest asset. This new identity is not merely a change of colour and design – it reflects our resolve to move forward with the times while keeping quality and the interests of our dairy farmers at the centre. The refreshed look carries the same promise of purity in a form that today’s consumer connects with.”

Shri Pritesh Joshi, CEO of Bhopal Dugdh Sangh mentioned, “Sanchi milk undergoes strict quality checks before reaching consumers, and the new packaging makes this assurance visible – signalling wholesomeness while standing out on the shelf for families to easily recognise.”

Sanchi, MPCDF’s flagship dairy brand, is refreshing its identity to bridge the gap between tradition and modernity. A unified packaging and communication design emerged as the most powerful lever to modernise perceptions, replace the fragmented look and reinforce trust in hygiene and freshness. The new Gond art motif is rooted in Madhya Pradesh’s dairy heritage with the depiction of cow, hut, milk can and central female farmer. This consistent, culturally engrained uniqueness delivers modern appeal and credibility in value‑added dairy products, while preserving trust. It positions Sanchi to grow within Madhya Pradesh, expand into new categories, and compete nationally.

The new-look packaging will span entire Sanchi portfolio, including its milk variants – Smart, Gold, Taaza and Shakti as well as Plain Curd, Paneer, Buttermilk, Chhach and Chah. The refreshed products will be available in the Bhopal market starting August 8, 2026. Sanchi milk is pasteurised and packed at the Bhopal Dugdh Sangh’s modern, FSSAI-compliant facility. It is sourced from cooperative societies across villages in Madhya Pradesh and undergoes 42 rigorous quality tests on world-class machines. Every pack of Sanchi milk is fortified with Vitamin A and Vitamin D.

With its new identity, Sanchi reaffirms its long-standing promise to the consumers of Bhopal – Swad, Sehat, Sanchi (Taste, Health, Sanchi).”
