The Reserve Bank has today issued the Reserve Bank of India (Prudential Regulations on Basel III Capital Framework, Exposure Norms, Significant Investments, Classification, Valuation and Operation of Investment Portfolio Norms and Resource Raising Norms for All India Financial Institutions) Directions, 2023. These Directions shall be applicable to the five All India Financial Institutions (AIFIs) viz., EXIM Bank, NABARD, NABFID, NHB, and SIDBI. The draft Directions were released for public comments on October 22, 2021. The final Directions are being issued today considering, inter-alia, the feedback received.
