New Delhi, October 6, 2026: IMS Noida faculty member and Delhi-based artist Prasoon Poddar will present a solo art exhibition titled ‘The Shape of Memory’ at the India International Centre (IIC) Annexe in New Delhi, with an exclusive preview scheduled for October 7, 2026 at 6:00 PM. The preview evening will be inaugurated by Prof. Biman Bihari Das, Padma Shri awardee, sculptor and painter, former Principal of GCAC Kolkata, and President of AIFACS, who will attend as Chief Guest.

Exhibition explores tea as cultural metaphor

‘The Shape of Memory’ focuses on the cultural and emotional significance of tea in India, using the tea kettle as a central visual metaphor for memory, warmth, intimacy, and human connection. Through variations in form, surface, color, and mark-making, Poddar’s works reflect on everyday rituals that contribute to collective belonging.
