Staffordshire Police Roads Policing Unit pulled over the Ford Ranger for having no MOT this morning (Monday).
However, minutes later they discovered the driver had no insurance either giving officers a reason to seize the vehicle.
The police unit tweeted: “Ford Ranger stopped for having no MOT in Lichfield.
“We then establish the driver has no insurance also. Not a good start to their New Year as their vehicle is to be recovered until they can insure it. Lichfield Police. Operation Lightning.”
