Kolkata, August 3, 2026: More than 70 educators and academic leaders from over 20 CBSE schools in South 24 Parganas gathered at Techno India Group Public School (TIGPS), Garia on July 30 for the CBSE District Level Deliberations: Expert-Led Talk, focusing on the integration of Computational Thinking (CT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in classrooms.
The event comes as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) rolls out its new CT and AI curriculum for Classes III to VIII, aiming to build educator capacity and foster collaboration among schools as technology-driven learning becomes increasingly central to education.
Sessions on AI, ethics, and pedagogy
The programme featured sessions led by academic and industry experts, covering the foundations of computational thinking and AI readiness, ethics and responsible use of AI, assessment and pedagogy in CT and AI, and applications of AI in real-world contexts.
