The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has recorded over 6.5 million registrations in the unemployment insurance scheme for the period from 1 January to 1 October 2023.
Those who haven’t yet registered may face a 400 AED (108.9 USD) fine.
By way of reminder, the UAE unemployment insurance scheme came into force on 1 January 2023. The deadline for registration was set for 1 October of the same year.
