ONEOTT Intertainment appoints Ashish Krishana Sharma as Chief Business Officer

Mumbai, October 13, 2026: ONEOTT Intertainment Ltd. (OIL), the broadband arm of Hinduja Global Solutions, has named Ashish Krishana Sharma as Chief Business Officer for its Retail & Institutional Sales vertical. Sharma will oversee OIL’s broadband operations across India, leading sales, distribution, and customer acquisition for the company’s flagship brand, ONE Broadband, in both retail and institutional markets.

The appointment is part of OIL’s strategy to accelerate its nationwide growth and expand its presence in high-potential markets. OIL is among India’s largest private Internet Service Providers, with services in over 350 cities and towns, and a growing footprint in Tier-II and Tier-III locations.

Industry veteran joins OIL

Sharma brings more than 25 years of experience in the telecom, broadband, and DTH sectors, having held senior positions at DishTV India, Tata Play Fiber, Vodafone, and Bharti Airtel. Most recently, he served as Divisional Head at DishTV India, where he was responsible for revenue growth, market share expansion, and building a high-performance sales organisation. His 12-year tenure at Bharti Airtel included roles in enterprise, post-paid, and broadband businesses.

At OIL, Sharma’s remit will include driving the company’s broadband services as well as emerging solutions such as IPTV, OTT, CCTV, and public Wi-Fi across the retail and institutional segments.

Leadership perspectives on appointment

“I am delighted to join OIL at such an exciting point in its journey. The company has a strong foundation—a trusted brand in ONE, the pedigree of the Hinduja Group, and a clear vision for growth. Demand for reliable, high-speed broadband is rising rapidly across India’s smaller cities and towns, and that presents a significant opportunity for us. My focus will be on strengthening our partner ecosystem, building agile, execution-driven teams and making ONE Broadband the preferred choice for households across the country,” said Ashish Krishana Sharma.

Vynsley Fernandes, Whole-time Director at Hinduja Global Solutions and Managing Director & CEO of OIL, said Sharma’s experience in building fiber broadband businesses and leading distribution networks would be valuable as OIL expands to more cities and towns.
