Mumbai Police vide a notification dated 14 October, 2022 has mandated the use of seat belts for the motive force and all passengers in a four-wheeler. The rule which is able to come into impact from 1 November, 2022 will likely be relevant to all four-wheelers plying in Mumbai metropolis.
As per the press be aware launched by Mumbai Police, motor autos which do not need seat belt services for all commuters should set up them earlier than 1 November, 2022.
