The Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois (IIA of IL) presented the Held Insurance Agency, located at 800 E. Northwest Hwy. in Mount Prospect, with the IIA of IL Agency of the Year Award in the small agency category during the association’s annual convention held in Peoria earlier this month.
The Agency of the Year Award is presented to an IIA of IL member agency (one with fewer and one with more than 10 employees) that exemplifies leadership and innovation within the industry. The Agency of the Year demonstrates strong growth, innovative marketing strategies, creative utilization of evolving technology, top-level customer service, and dedication to the community.
Erich Held formed his independent agency in early 2020, just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the agency’s goal of becoming a highly regarded agency that caters to its client’s needs, the team relied heavily on technology for ease of doing business — both within the agency and with clients.
