Berlin-based architecture firm Kinzo has paid homage to craftsmanship in the design of ‘das max,’ a modern office building for the insurance company Münchner Verein in Munich. The building, based on a design by SCOPE architects, features open spaces for the 250 employees of the firm and is a departure from the office’s previous cubicle-style layout.

Kinzo, known for its interior design focus, has transformed the workspace by emphasizing visible concrete in the architecture and incorporating warm wooden slat panels in furnishings. The design also includes unique elements such as an acoustic brick wall and a large wooden table reminiscent of a carpenter’s workbench. The Münchener Verein logo’s blue theme is consistently used throughout the space.

Thiss modern office building project is consistently used throughout the space. The project is part of Kinzo’s broader expertise in user-centered transformations of working environments, as demonstrated in another urban office landscape project for Evangelisches Siedlungswerk in Hasenbergl.
