January 26 (SeeNews) – Gross written premiums (GWPs) of insurance companies operating in Kosovo in December increased to 146.4 million euro ($159 million), up from 134 million euro in the same month a year earlier, central bank data showed on Friday.
The combined net profit of Kosovo insurers surged to 13.3 million euro at the end of December, from 1.8 million euro a year earlier, the central bank said in a monthly figures report.
The assets held by Kosovo insurance companies increased to 304 million euro at the end of December, up from 269 million euro at the end of the same month in 2022.
