Hyderabad, October 9, 2026: KL Deemed to be University has been awarded the 4-Star Rating—the highest distinction under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) framework—for the fifth consecutive year, according to the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC). The recognition highlights the university’s ongoing efforts to foster innovation and entrepreneurship during the IIC calendar year 2024–25.
The announcement also included the advancement of seven teams from KL Education Foundation (KLEF) to the final rounds of the IIC Innovation Challenges. Four of these teams have been shortlisted for the AICTE Production Fellowship (APF) final round, while three teams have qualified for the YUKTI Innovation Challenge finals.
