ISB Online launches 16-week AI-focused product management programme

Hyderabad, October 7, 2026: ISB Online, the digital arm of the Indian School of Business (ISB), has introduced a 16-week executive Product Management Programme aimed at equipping professionals with skills to manage the complete product lifecycle, including AI-enabled product development and performance management.

The programme responds to the growing demand for product leaders who can combine strategic thinking with data, experimentation, and AI fluency, as organisations increasingly invest in Generative AI to accelerate product development and improve efficiency. According to Deloitte Digital’s 2025 report, 90% of surveyed organisations are investing in Generative AI, with 67% increasing those investments to boost productivity. In India, Deloitte’s State of Generative AI in the Enterprise (2025) found that 67% of Indian organisations reported positive impacts across every phase of the software development lifecycle.

Programme structure and curriculum

The ISB Online Product Management Programme has enrolled over 6,000 learners across more than 38 cohorts. The curriculum integrates product strategy, lifecycle management, and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI. Participants cover topics such as product strategy, innovation, customer discovery, market research, user journey mapping, competitive positioning, product roadmapping, MVP development, A/B testing, growth hacking, pricing strategy, branding, distribution, product analytics, and performance measurement using business and product metrics.

Dedicated modules focus on AI-powered idea generation, product design optimisation, customer personalisation, AI-assisted analytics, and ethical implementation of AI in product management.

Hands-on projects and industry tools

The programme features industry-inspired projects, including developing product roadmaps through a Flipkart-inspired scenario, using analytics in a Swiggy-based growth project, and conducting user research for a Paytm-inspired innovation exercise. The learning experience includes over 140 self-paced video lectures from ISB faculty, 15 live online sessions, 10 masterclasses led by experienced product leaders, three hands-on projects, four business case studies, a capstone project, and exposure to 11 product management tools such as Figma, Jira, Mixpanel, SQL, Google Analytics, Miro, Asana, Notion, and Balsamiq. Participants also gain access to the ISB Online Network.

Focus on product leadership skills

Learner feedback highlights the programme’s balance of academic rigour and workplace relevance, with structured curriculum, hands-on projects, live sessions, and cross-industry peer learning. The programme aims to develop capabilities such as customer-centricity backed by data, strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to identify growth opportunities.

ISB is ranked #1 in India, #2 in Asia, and #12 globally in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2026.
