Indri launches Diwali Collector’s Edition 2026 Ruby Port Cask, limited to 600 bottles

New Delhi, October 8, 2026: Piccadily Agro Industries Ltd. has unveiled the Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2026, a limited-release Ruby Port Cask single malt whisky crafted by Master Blender Surrinder Kumar, following its international debut and showcase at The Whisky Show in London.

The new expression, bottled at 50% ABV and restricted to 600 individually numbered bottles for the Indian market, has already garnered significant recognition, including Double Gold with 96 points at the USA Spirits Ratings 2026, where it was named Indian Single Malt Whisky of the Year and Spirit of the Year – India. It also secured Gold at the World Whisky Masters 2026, New York World Spirits Competition 2026, and Asia World Spirits Competition 2026 in Singapore.

Limited edition Ruby Port Cask release

The Diwali Collector’s Edition 2026 is the fourth release in Indri’s annual festive series. Crafted from six-row barley and distilled in copper pot stills, the whisky is matured in hand-selected Ruby Port wine casks from Portugal in the subtropical climate of northern India. The result is a profile featuring black cherries, wild berries, ripe plums, honeyed fruits, roasted nuts, toffee, vanilla, and figs, with a long, fruit-forward finish.

The packaging, designed by Krsnaa Mehta, Founder of India Circus, draws inspiration from Indian miniature art and royal heritage, featuring jewel tones and ornate detailing around a Marwari horse and foal.

Recognition and availability

The 2026 edition continues Indri’s track record of international acclaim, following the 2023 Diwali Collector’s Edition being named “Best Whisky in the World” at the Whiskies of the World Awards 2023. The Collector’s Edition series has now won 29 international awards.

The 700 ml, 50% ABV bottles will be available in India from mid-October across Gurugram, Chandigarh, and Bengaluru. An international variant at 58.5% ABV will be offered at select duty-free outlets in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Dubai.

Statements from Piccadily Distilleries

“The Diwali Collector’s Edition has played a defining role in Indri’s journey and in the story of Indian single malts globally. With the 2026 Ruby Port Cask, we wanted to bring together the richness of Indian single malt, the elegance of exceptional Ruby Port casks and the artistry of India’s cultural heritage. Limited to just 600 individually numbered bottles, this is a release created not only to celebrate Diwali, but to celebrate how far Indian whisky has come,” said Surrinder Kumar, Master Blender, Piccadily Distilleries.
