Why This Matters
India’s LPG market has witnessed rapid growth over the past decade, driven by increasing urbanization, rising household incomes, and greater adoption of clean cooking fuel. Consumer expectations have also evolved, with faster deliveries and digital services becoming key differentiators.
By introducing lightweight composite cylinders and guaranteed four-hour delivery, IndianOil is responding to these changing expectations while strengthening its leadership in the domestic LPG market. If successfully implemented across the country, the initiative could set new service benchmarks for the energy distribution sector.
