In a notification, the MoRTH mentioned underneath the Motor Vehicles Non-Transport Vehicles Visiting India Rules, 2022, a legitimate registration certificates needs to be carried within the automobile working underneath these guidelines whereas within the nation.

A sound driving licence or worldwide driving allow, whichever is relevant needs to be carried within the automobile. Also, an insurance coverage and air pollution underneath management certificates needs to be carried within the automobile, the notification said. In case these paperwork are in a language apart from English, then an authorised translation, duly authenticated by the issuing authority, shall be carried together with the unique papers, it mentioned.
Motor autos registered in any nation apart from India shall not be permitted to move native passengers and items throughout the territory of India, it added.
