New Delhi, October 26, 2026: iHUB DivyaSampark at IIT Roorkee has introduced a six-month Post Graduate Certificate in Agentic Systems & Production AI, developed in collaboration with global ed-tech firm Emeritus. The 24-week, fully online programme is set to begin on December 22, 2026, and aims to equip engineering professionals with the skills to deploy, scale, monitor and secure AI systems in production environments.
The programme addresses the growing need for production-ready AI infrastructure as organisations transition from experimentation to enterprise-wide deployment. According to McKinsey’s The State of AI in 2026: On the Road to ROI, while nearly 90% of organisations regularly use AI, only 44% have scaled it across the enterprise, and just 37% report any EBIT impact from AI. Among large organisations, 40% have scaled AI agents, up from 27% the previous year.
Focus on MLOps, LLMOps, RAGOps and AgentOps
The curriculum integrates four key disciplines: MLOps, LLMOps, RAGOps and AgentOps. It covers automated ML pipelines, experiment tracking, model registries, LLM hosting, inference serving, vector databases, retrieval infrastructure, agent runtimes, deployment, observability, and operational controls. Cloud-native engineering tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform are included, along with practices for high availability, disaster recovery, SLAs, SLOs, access control and audit logging.
Participants will engage in live instruction, virtual labs and practical exercises using over 25 tools and platforms, including Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow, MLflow, vLLM, KServe, LangGraph, Prometheus, Grafana and Milvus. The programme features six graded mini projects and an Enterprise ModelOps and LLM Infrastructure capstone project.
Programme structure and eligibility
The course is delivered through three-hour sessions every Saturday and Sunday, requiring a weekly commitment of 8–10 hours. Weekly sessions are led by industry experts, with approximately 12 hours of live masterclasses from IIT and other premier institution faculty. Eligibility criteria include a bachelor’s degree or a diploma with at least three years of work experience, as well as intermediate Python skills and familiarity with cloud and DevOps tools such as AWS, Git, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
The programme fee is INR 1,50,000 plus GST. An optional two-day campus immersion at IIT Roorkee’s Noida campus is available after successful completion. Career Services are provided through recorded content by Emeritus.
Target audience and industry relevance
The certificate is intended for DevOps, cloud, site reliability engineering (SRE), platform engineers, software and backend engineers, ML, AI and data engineers, technology architects, technical leads and engineering managers. The course is not designed for beginners and requires prior hands-on experience in relevant technologies.
Manish Anand, Chief Executive Officer of iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee, said the programme aims to help experienced engineers develop the capabilities needed to take AI from pilot to production, combining hands-on learning with industry collaboration.
