Bengaluru, October 15, 2026: Honeywell Technologies (NASDAQ: HON) has launched Forge Cognition, an agentic AI and simulation platform for facility operations, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA and Dell Technologies. The platform uses AI agents and real-time digital twins to help operators detect equipment issues, optimize energy use, and coordinate responses across existing systems.
Forge Cognition is currently being piloted at NVIDIA’s Voyager campus in Santa Clara, the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai, NEX Mall in Singapore, Vanderbilt University in the US, and Honeywell Technologies’ own campuses in Bengaluru and Richardson, Texas. At NVIDIA’s Voyager campus, the pilot has shown up to a 90% reduction in unnecessary alerts and identified up to 10% potential savings in energy and utility consumption, while maintaining a comfort score above 95%.
AI agents and digital twins
The platform integrates real-time digital twins with AI agents, enabling facility teams to interpret operating conditions, simulate scenarios, and coordinate actions across connected systems. Applications include smarter alarm management, predictive asset health for HVAC systems, and energy intelligence through digital twin simulations. Operators can choose manual, semi-autonomous, or autonomous modes, with the ability to override AI decisions at any time.
Technology partners and infrastructure
NVIDIA contributes advanced AI models and accelerated computing, including Nemotron open models, Omniverse libraries for simulations, Cosmos open models, and RTX PRO GPUs. The platform is expanding to support far-edge deployments with NVIDIA DGX Spark. Dell Technologies supplies AI infrastructure through the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, including PowerEdge XE servers, AI Data Platform, cyber resiliency solutions, and services for developing and operationalizing AI models.
Pilot results and customer deployments
Across Honeywell Technologies’ install base of over 300,000 sites, the pilots aim to demonstrate improvements in asset reliability, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. At NVIDIA’s Voyager campus, Forge Cognition reduced unnecessary alerts by up to 90%, provided predictive maintenance for HVAC assets, identified up to 10% potential energy savings, and maintained a comfort score above 95% based on temperature, humidity, and CO2 measurements.
Executive statements
“Forge Cognition combines AI with operational context and engineering expertise, opening a new era of intelligent operations where AI can analyze, recommend and act alongside people,” said Suresh Venkatarayalu, Chief Technology Officer, Honeywell Technologies.
Deepu Talla, vice president of robotics and edge AI at NVIDIA, said, “Honeywell Technologies is combining NVIDIA AI and simulation technologies with its deep industrial expertise to help customers anticipate equipment issues, improve reliability and energy efficiency across the infrastructure they already operate.”
Honeywell Technologies is a global automation company serving building, industrial, and process sectors, with more than 50,000 employees worldwide.
