Albania and Italy finalize on Tuesday the agreement on the mutual recognition of social i nsurancecontributions.
The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, will pay an official visit to Italy tomorrow, during which he will sign the agreement with his counterpart Tajani.
The agreement comes as an obligation to Albanian, Italian and Italo-Albanian citizens, who have worked with dedication for 30 years and have contributed to the economy and social progress of our both countries.
Minister Hasani’s official agenda in Italy starts with a meeting tomorrow at 11:00, with the President of the Commission for European Union Policies, Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata.
At 16:30, the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the “Friends of the Western Balkans” group and the MFAs of the Western Balkans will take place, at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Antonio Tajani.
Meanwhile, on February 6, at 10:00, Hasani will meet his Italian counterpart, Antonio Tajani, with whom he will sign the social insurance agreement. At 11.00 the two ministers will give a statement to the media.
While at 14:30 the meeting will take place with the President of the European Affairs Commission, Alessandro Giglio Vigna.

Minister Hasani’s visit to Italy marks an in-depth commitment to expanding cooperation with Italy in areas of mutual interest, in accordance with the Strategic Partnership Declaration.
The aim is to reaffirm Italy’s support, both bilaterally with a wide range of cooperation in areas of common interest, and multilaterally, especially in European integration, reaffirming Italy’s support for an accelerated integration process up to in 2030, as declared by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tajani.
