GTA, Guam’s telecommunications chief, held a groundbreaking ceremony not too long ago to mark the beginning of building of the Alupang Data Center, a world-class designed and engineered Data Center and Cable Landing Station in Tamuning, Guam. This state-of-the-art knowledge heart will provide over 31,000 sq. ft of ground house constructed to Tier III requirements with 4.0 megawatts (MW) of energy capability. Under US-based Huntsman Family Investments (HFI) possession, GTA continues to develop its communications infrastructure throughout the island and internationally.
