GraceKennedy (GK) has completed its acquisition of Scotia Insurance Caribbean.
The business has been re-branded GK Life.
The deal was first announced in August 2022.
GK says the acquisition allows for the expansion of its insurance business across the Caribbean with offerings in five new territories.
GK’s Group CEO Don Wehby says there will be no change to existing customer policies associated with the acquisition.
With GK Life now operating in 12 markets, Mr Wehby confirmed that the mergers and acquisitions unit is in discussions regarding more transactions locally and internationally.
