From cats to crypto, Hong Kong’s first virtual insurer eyes growth in niches

HONG KONG — When Alvin Kwock came across cryptocurrency in 2016, as the price of BitCoin was beginning to edge toward $1,000, the CEO of Hong Kong online insurer OneDegree said he was immediately skeptical.
