Sampo plc: Disclosure Under Chapter 9 Section 5 of the Securities Market Act (BlackRock, Inc.)
Sampo plc (business code 0142213-3) has obtained a disclosure beneath Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Securities Markets Act, in response to which the whole quantity of voting rights hooked up to Sampo A shares (ISIN: FI009003305) owned instantly, not directly or by way of monetary devices by BlackRock, Inc. (USA tax ID 32-0174421) and its funds elevated on 2 September 2022 above 5 (5) per cent of Sampo plc’s whole voting rights. In addition, the disclosure obligation arose as a result of the A shares and voting rights owned instantly or not directly by BlackRock, Inc. and its funds growing above 5 (5) per cent of all Sampo plc’s shares and voting rights.
Sampo’s share capital contains 533,261,351 shares, of which 533,061,351 are A shares and 200,000 are B shares. Each A share entitles its holder to 1 (1) vote and every B share to 5 (5) votes. Thus, the whole quantity of votes is 534,061,351.
