Mumbai, August 4, 2026: Dilip Buildcon Ltd. (DBL) has secured a Letter of Award valued at ₹160.20 crore from the Odisha Bridge & Construction Corporation (OB&CC) for constructing a six-lane diversion road in Sundargarh district, Odisha. The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract further expands the company’s government-backed road infrastructure portfolio.
The project covers the construction of a six-lane diversion road with service roads on the Duduka-Gopalpur-Toparia Road, spanning from km 4.700 to km 11.500. According to the company’s regulatory filing, the contract is valued at ₹160.20 crore, excluding GST, and is to be completed within 18 months.
Details of the EPC contract
Dilip Buildcon stated that the order was awarded by a domestic entity, and clarified that neither its promoter, promoter group, nor group companies have any interest in the awarding authority. The company also confirmed that the contract does not constitute a related-party transaction.
The new project comes amid ongoing government investments in road connectivity, including highways, bypasses, and diversion roads aimed at improving traffic flow and supporting regional economic growth. EPC contracts remain a preferred model for public infrastructure execution, providing opportunities for companies with established delivery capabilities.
Financial performance and order book
The latest award follows the company’s recent financial results. For the quarter ended March 2026 (Q4 FY26), Dilip Buildcon reported a consolidated net profit of ₹62.05 crore, a 63.67% decrease from ₹170.83 crore in the same quarter the previous year. Revenue from operations declined 25.71% year-on-year to ₹2,299.80 crore.
Despite the softer quarterly performance, the company said sustained order inflows are important for strengthening order books and supporting future revenue generation. The Odisha project adds to Dilip Buildcon’s presence in eastern India and expands its execution pipeline of state-led infrastructure projects.
