In recognition of the success in paying insurance claims, the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) and the Financial Institutions Division (FID) of the Ministry of Finance have awarded Delta Life Insurance Company a ‘Commemoration Award’.
Member of the Board of Directors and Chairperson of the Executive Committee Mrs Adeeba Rahman, ACII, Chartered Insurer (UK) received the award from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the National Insurance Day-2024 celebration on Friday at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC).
Delta Life Insurance, one of the top first-generation life insurers in the private sector, has paid claims for more than Tk 89 billion (Tk 8,900 crore) since its inception and Tk 8.5 billion (Tk 852 crore) in 2023.
