 CSRBOX and Dalmia Bharat Foundation co-hosted the 8th CSR Impact Awards at the celebrated India CSR Summit 2022, South Asia’s largest CSR discussion board at Hotel Pullman that introduced 2200+ company, CSR foundations, authorities businesses, non-income, social enterprises, collaborate, and scale-up actions within the improvement and influence sectors.

 

The CSR Impact Awards – a CSRBOX initiative supported by Dalmia Bharat Foundation encourages corporations, CSR Foundations, and CSR implementing businesses to ship excessive influence by CSR initiatives and undertake a multi-stakeholder strategy, resulting in excellence in undertaking outcomes.

“I am glad to be here at the 9th edition of the India CSR Summit. Happy to see various stakeholders in development sector, like CSR providers, nonprofits, public and private institutions and all the participants who have come from far,” stated Shri Bhubaneswar Kalita Ji.

 

“CSR is a new concept. It should not be limited only to 2%. It can go up to 3% and 4 % depending on the capacity of the company,” he added.

 

Speaking at the Inaugural session Dr. Bhagwat Karad Ji, Honourable State Minister of Finance, Government of India states, ‘One of the various desires of Mahatma Gandhi, the daddy of our nation, was to develop a trusteeship. It is important to work for the nation and with the mixed efforts of all of us, working by CSR as a medium is a large step ahead ‘.

 

Highlighting the award winners at the 8th CSR Impact Awards, Adani Wilmar Limited (Adani Foundation) gained the esteemed CSR Project of the Year within the giant class for its undertaking ‘Fortune SuPoshan’ whereas Birlasoft Limited was honoured with the award for ‘CSR Project of the Year in the small category’ and Bharti Foundation together with HT Parekh Foundation gained the ‘CSR Foundation of the Year’ title.

 

Maruti Suzuki India Limited gained the laurels for being the ‘Company with Best CSR Impacts’ and Odisha Mining Corporation Limited gained the ‘PSU with Best CSR Impacts’.

 

Tech Mahindra Foundation, for its undertaking ‘All Round Improvement in School Education for Children with Disabilities (ARISE+)’ gained beneath Special Categories (Large).

Under COVID Response (Large) class, Amazon India took house the award for its COVID reduction undertaking ‘Mission Vayu’.

 

For the Women Empowerment class winner beneath the big class is- Azim Premji Foundation, for its groundbreaking undertaking on ‘Strengthening id of Women as Farmers by bettering their entry to productive assets’, and within the small category- Ramboll India Pvt. Ltd. for its undertaking UPASANA – A Certificate program in Multiple Intelligence coaching for Primary School.

 

PNB Housing Finance Limited gained the WASH marketing campaign award within the giant class for its Drinking Water undertaking and The Ramco Cements Limited, Govindapuram Unit within the small class for its accessible and sustainable sanitation services program.

 

Under Healthcare, ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth bagged the award beneath the big class, whereas Sanofi India Ltd and Cognizant Foundation emerged because the winners beneath the small class.
